Here's a nice Mach 1 for $25K

Those high bids on that other Mustang have got to be fake.

"We improved drivability and reliability by installing a new Holley Carb. & Pro Comp intake manifold and replaced belts or hoses as needed. A new battery was installed and with everything running and driving as it should we turned our attention to the ride and handling installing new shocks and American Racing AR500 17” rims with Toyo Proxes 215/60R17 & 235/50R17 then lowered the ride height to achieve the stance that set this Mustang apart from the herd!"

Gotta admire the GM guys for trying, but they half-assed their way through the rebuild, showed it on TV, and NOW they expect the megabucks for a coupla days work and a nice coat of paint? Pea soup green was Ford's worst color even in the day. It's worth maybe $20K - the winning bid of $51,377.77 had to come from a real fan.
