Default GM Supplier Discount Verification

Anyone use the GM Supplier discount recently on a purchase? My old firm was eligible, and I obtained certificates in 2000 and 2006. I still have an account and get emails, but my current firm isn't in the program. If I request a certificate, do I need to provide evidence of current employment? I don't remember the process. In 2006 I got a certificate for my mother in law--I don't think I had to get evidence of employment.

Thanks.

I work for a company that is also in the automotive supplier chain and receive discounts to GM, Hyundai, Ford, etc. When I purchased my Genesis I used the certificate and when you validate it the employer verifies eligilbility prior to disbursing the certificate. So, the evidence of current employment is done automatically and you don't supply a thing. Also the certificate is sent to the employer email address to be valid. Doesn't sound promising.
