but yes, personally i see lexus has the last one with v8 na too. which imho is a good thing, i like it most. plus lexus does have good gas mileage as leverage

MBZ has announced a 4.0T V8 for this next generation of C55/65 AMG (2015 body), so a V8 will stick around at least for one more generation. As for the RS5, I can't think of any current 3.0T set-up Audi has to compete against M, AMG, F, R. They use the 4.0T in the RS7 as well as A8.

The next C55 is confirmed to be a 4.0L TT V8, no words on the next RS5, but I am sure it will have the same 4.0L TT V8 as seen on the current S6/RS6, S7/RS7, A8/S8, V8 Conti-GT.........pretty much all V8 power cars in the VAG.
Audi only got that 3.0L Supercharged V6, power is too low for this level. The highest it makes is 354 hp in the SQ5.

I'd imagine in the future they'll have to make a more hi-po version.
It would never be weak with boost anyway........this is the fastest M3 ever, so it is weaker then those 4.0L TT V8, but it won't be slow for sure.
Huge displacement NA engine is always the most fun, god I want to drive a SLS Black Series to hear that 6.2L monster roar to 8k rpm!!
