exclusive matchup

Not sure if C&D is, but I know a good bit of owners talk about rattles and squeaks in the cabin. I don't think the CCB-equipped vehicles make up that large of a percentage of vehicles. Maybe they fixed it in MY16. I do notice that there is felt wrapped around the seatbelt lock to keep it from making noise on the center console. That seemed to be a complaint, early on.

G-Power's BMW M3/M4 Look Meaner, Go Like The Clappers With 600 Horses
Since the BMW M3 and M4 are the top sellers in the G-Power program, the tuner has made both vehicles more appealing for those in search of aftermarket visual upgrades.
Made from carbon fiber and carrying a motorsport-inspired design, theaerodynamic components that fit both the M3 and M4 help the two cars become more visible, and feature an 'RS' front spoiler and 'CS' front splitter, rear diffuser and boot-mounted spoiler.
Besides giving the two M-cars a more aggressive stance, the visual upgrades are said to help reduce lift on both axles, which ensures a "more stable handling at high speeds", as the tuner explains.
Complementing the new look of the M3 and M4 is a set of 20- or 21-inch lightweight forged alloy wheels, named Hurricane RR and available in either Jet Black, Gun Metal Grey or Stardust Silver. Each of the 21x9.0-inch wheel weighs 11.4 kg (25.1 lbs), which makes them among the lightest in their size on the market.
G-Power recommends fitting the new aftermarket bits and pieces to cars that have their3.0-liter engines fiddled with, and are now producing 600 PS (592 HP) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque, thanks to the Bi-Tronik 2 V3 module, as the visual parts will help the M3 and M4 look as fast as they are.

Cadillac ATS-V Puts On An Impressive Show Against BMW M3
Once upon a time, the BMW M3 was untouchable in the mid-size luxury performance car market, but nowadays, it doesn't only have to cope with increasingly improved rivals from Germany, but new challengers too, including one from the USA in the form of the Cadillac ATS-V.
While the M3 features a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine with 425 hp, the ATS-V utilizes a larger twin-turbo 3.6-liter powertrain that pumps out 464 hp.
Alongside the horsepower advantage, the American contender's overall torque figure is 38 lb-ft better, 444 lb-ft versus 406. However, the Cadillac is nearly 200kg lbs heavier than the dual-clutch BMW so, when the two recently hit the drag strip, the outcome was not easy to predict.
In this particular race, at the end of the quarter mile sprint, the M3 clocked a time of 11.6 seconds at 105 mph (169 km/h), while the ATS-V completed the same sprint in 11.57 seconds with a significantly higher (119 mph / 191 km/h) trap speed. So, in a straight line at least, the Germans aren't having it all their own way.

BMW M3 In Individual Speed Yellow Races Into Abu Dhabi
This 2017 BMW M3 found its way into the Bavarian automaker's Abu Dhabi showroom via a special order.
The customer went with a clean look, with no AC Schnitzer custom bits (as we frequently see over there) and a rather rare Speed Yellow BMW Individual colorway, which is a fresh departure from the likes of the more popular Austin Yellow.
Styling-wise, the car has theCompetition Package which includes machine polished 20" wheels, black chrome exhaust pipes and a black finish for the kidney grille and side gills. Inside, the pack adds lightweight M sports seats with extra support and seat belts with woven-in BMW M stripes.
The Competition Pack also raises the power to 450 PS (444 HP), while the tuned Adaptive M Suspension features new springs, dampers and anti-roll bars as well as reconfigured driving modes to handle the car's slightly enhanced characteristics.
Speaking of which, thanks to the previously mentioned package and the DCT dual-clutch gearbox, this M3 is capable of blasting past the 60 mph (96 km/h) mark in just 3.8 seconds - and that's about as quick as a Mercedes-AMG GT S.
All that aside, how do you feel about the Speed Yellow & black finish combo?

AC Schnitzer Leaves Its Mark On The BMW M3 And M4
AC Schnitzer’s latest tuning upgrade for the BMW M3 and M4 isn’t that impressive but only if you think that 510 PS (503 hp) and 654 Nm (482 lb-ft) of torque are not enough.
Thanks to their turbocharged, 3.0-litre S55 inline-six, the Bavarian vehicles are a tuner’s dream, mainly because the engine can be easily upgraded to produce impressive amounts of power.
The power bump came mainly from an ECU upgrade, lifting the engine's output from the factory's 431 PS (425 hp) to 510 PS (503 hp), and from 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) to 645 Nm (482 lb-ft).
Okay, AC Schnitzer’s re-worked exhaust with silencers, flap control and sound pipe might’ve helped a bit, by improving the gas flow, but at the end of the day it all boils down to the revamped engine control unit.
Both vehicles can be commissioned with either AC Schnitzer’s suspension spring kit (which lowers the car by around 25 - 30 mm at the front and 10 - 15 mm at the rear) or the RS adjustable suspension (slamming the car closer to the ground by 30 - 40 mm at the front and around 30 mm at the rear). Both solutions improve cornering, offer “gentle” understeer at the limit and a good-natured load change.
Exterior-wise, a meticulously crafted aerodynamic package was implemented. Composed of a multistage body styling kit, the final Stage 3 variant features super-lightweight carbon front spoiler elements (which weigh only 400 grams), including a racing splitter, carbon fiber side wings, rear and roof spoilers, and even carbon fiber mirror covers.
A similar theme can be found at the interior, as the German tuner bedizened the vehicles with various enhancements, ranging from the aluminum pedal set and foot rest, to the aluminum gear **** with digital gear display and handbrake handle.
