The car looks great in the real life pics. Looks like a winner for Infiniti to me

I was surprised that they removed the analog clock. It was like their trademark. Its funny because I remember people saying its cheesy and that lexus, benz and such wouldn't do it. And now its everywhere.

Its everywhere...but on Infiniti !

I love my Analog clock...seriously. So easy to read and the car doesn't have to be on...

The interior looks cheap with all that expanse of featureless plastic on the dash.

Is it just me, or did Infiniti (Nissan) pull a fast one and adopted the Maxima / Altima platform to be RWD? Not feeling it at all...

If earlier reports are correct the new G (now named the Q50) is based on Mercedes' next C-Class platform. In exchange, however, the next C-Class will use Nissan's engines instead.

I am loving the styling on this new vehicle. I hope a lot of the design cues will make it into the G37 sedan. It needs to have more angle and creases. Its a bit lobular now

That's interesting. W204 platform should be updated soon as well, so this may jive with it. Thanks for the info...

Was there any Nissan/Infiniti interior that doesn't look cheap?

The only one I can think of is the R35 GTR Egoist, but that one looks weird, is like it is trying too hard, putting lipstick on a pig.

Those crescent moon leds in the front and back are nice.
Nice to see them having their own led design, rather than a row of christmas lights.

Car doesn't look as bulbous as the last gen.

Almost. The higher level engines in the next C-class will be MB engines. Nissan will be making the high-end 4-cyl engines in TN.

hmm? The W204 has already been updated. That platform will be leaving us in a couple of years.

Maybe it is using existing C class chassis because I dont see Mercedes letting Infiniti use the new stuff before they even have a go yet.

also the crescent moons on the rear lights make the whole rear just a tad bit sonata for me.
