its IS based, as you can see on the pics... there will be 2 coupes from Lexus, one IS and one GS based.

If its an IS based coupe, it'll be M4 competitor. IS-F could continue on and be M3 competitor.

... but remains to be seen what will it be sold/marketed as. Looks like a return of the coupe and not a coupe'd sedan (is-c).

Cool. Maybe this is why it was reported that Lexus isn't even sure if there will be a next-gen IS-F. After all, M3 coupe outsells the sedan by a huge margin.

Still I think the F marque should have more than just one model.

Hopefully this will be based on the GS chassis so that it can be an M5 competitor.

Both of us could be right.

It might be midway in size between an IS and GS and positioned above the IS but below the GS, kind of like how the BMW 4 series is positioned.

whats midway in size? IS and GS are 5cm difference in wheelbase, and is based on GS... but we know from LF-CC that this will be more like IS, as it should be, as it looks awesome. GS isnt design to be made coupe of.

Are you sure about that? You just posted this a few posts ago:

you mean that RC could be bigger of two? I am not sure of anything, you posted that LF-CC chopped pic so I assumed it is IS based :-)
