very odd list
10. 2012 Mazda CX-5
9. 2013 Infiniti JX35
8. 2013 Dodge Dart
7. 2012 Volkswagen Beetle
6. 2012 Range Rover Evoque
5. 2012 Hyundai Azera
4. 2012 Hyundai Accent
3. 2012 Chrysler 300
2. 2012 Chevrolet Sonic
1. 2012 Audi A7

4. 2012 Hyundai Accent
3. 2012 Chrysler 300
2. 2012 Chevrolet Sonic
1. 2012 Audi A7
Of those specific ten interiors listed, I'd agree with the Chrysler 300, Audi A7, and Infiniti JX35....I'm not that impressed with the others. But I also think that the Buick Enclave and Rolls-Royce Phantom interiors should be on the list. They are both my idea of what a nice rich, warm interior should look like, though the Enclave has a lot of simple plastic under that surface-bling.
(of course, I also understand that the Phantom's interior is not that of a high-volume production car, either, and is done in small numbers)

This list is pure crap.
I'm not impressed with most of that top 10 list at all.

How could Sonic get onto the list? I agree that it has an offbeat interior, but being unique doesn't make it a great interior does it?
I would put the new Lexus LS's interior on the list. I agree with CX-5 and Beetle though.

It's more like a list of 10 best econocar interiors except for the A7. Bizarre beyond belief.
List is horrible, CX-5 is nothing special and looks a little downmarket. Never felt any Mazda interior stood out or was good aside from the last RX-7, Millenia, and last 929.
Hyundai Accent, Sonic, 300M, don't have "best" interiors at all and are pretty lacking. I read where the new VW bug interior was pretty cost cut so not sure why it is on the list.
Can't agree with you mmarsahll on the Equus, that center shifter area and center dash look extremely cheap and downmarket with a dated design and lots of cheap hard plastic. It is really an eyesore in a nice car. Buttons and ***** look cheap too. The rear of the Equus looks much more upscale and almost like from a more upscale car. Some lower end Hyundai's have nicer dash/shifter areas then the Equus.

"list is horrible"
"list is rubbish"
I could find nothing that describes how the interiors were judged. Was it purely subjective? Is it just "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder"?
This list is useless without criteria.
I was interested in the Mazda CX-5 so had a close look at it at the Canadian Autoshow last year. I don't like it. You sit too low so it is like peeking over the top of a bathtub, and the driver's seat could not be adjusted up comfortably -- raising the seat raises the back of the seat cushion, leaving the front uncomfortably low. That centre display looks too much like a cheap after-market unit because it does not seem to fit the flow of the dashboard.
