good god
No way! My theory is incorrect then, because the US-spec Camry Hybrid does have blue tinted lens covers. (And the GS450h does have blue tinted lens covers too.)

i believe that's incorrect. i think the new es300h is based on the avalon platform not camry.

And I believe that is still correct because the Avalon itself is based on the Camry (it's a Camry LWB basically).

By the way I believe I was the first one on ClubLexus to notice these inconsistencies of the ES300h.

because CTh does not compete with any other car in Lexus lineup, while ESh does.

You probably would be first to complain that ESh and GSh have same options and ESh costs 10k less.. or if it costs same as lower spec GSh versions, then you would complain about that too :-)

"what is Lexus thinking, ESh is same price as GSh!!!!!!"
"what is Lexus thinking, loaded ESh is 10k less than GSh, who is going to buy GSh?!!!!"

How can one not like the one touch stick 3 blink feature? It's a great feature.
German vehicles have had it for years.

well since I am Lexus buyer, I am used to powered seats, as they are usually not an additional paying option unlike some other, khm, brands

I did love those 18 way power seats though... omg... you can see what people were talking about before when driving other luxury cars.

so nobody wants to comment on why the ESh does not get blue tinted lens covers? I think that is the big elephant in the room

Maybe b/c Lexus doesn't use it anymore and it's more like the gnat in the room

I honestly am not even sure if Lexus uses blue tiny anymore.
The new GSh and LSh doesn't seem to have it.

Ryan do u know?

But then again...... I'm starting to think that all those press pictures of the ES300h were photoshopped from the ES350 and the artist simply forgot to apply the blue tint.

EDIT: I just looked up some car show photos of the ES300h and indeed it did not have any blue tint. Maybe only the ES300h with radar cruise control comes with blue tinted badge?

EDIT 2: OK I just cross checked the above NYIAS pic with other pics of the same car at different websites and that car is really the ES350 but got mislabeled as ES300h on many sites.

So all in all there's consistency in the hybrid badge after all.

The photoshopper who did the ES300h's press pics needs to be fired though. What a waste of our time!

Its no big deal that the ES does not thave blue tinted lense covers
From the looks of it, Lexus wants buyers to choose either a 3.5 or the hybrod while the car, options etc are kept the same. I have not studied the options but I think they are identica cars excpet for the powertrains.

True

GSh should have LEDs standard just like LS and optional on regular gasoline models as well.
After seeing LS LED cluster GSh LEDs are irrelevant. Hopefully front fascia and headlight refresh come soon on GS.
