New Supra Render
The MKIV TT was like $50k right? Back in the 90's. If the Supra ever does come back I expect a huge reinvention on a much grander scale. But the ISF kinda fits the bill for the moment...both price point and power-wise.
Today would be the same - if it is going to be $60k, then better invest a little bit more into interior plastics and call it a Lexus. Especially worldwide, where customs and taxes will make it $100k-$150k car and not many will spend that much for Toyota, unless it is Land Cruiser.

^^ i know it's just a render/guess but i think that looks AWESOME!

well $45+k back in the 90's was a LOT, especially with such a plain interior. but as we all know the supra chassis and esp. turbo engine were/are pure awesome and built like a tank.

Hopefully the FR-S will lead to a new Supra coming out.
If it does, I'm curious what price point the car will be sold at.
Would it be competing with, say a Corvette or the GT-R; the later definitely being at a higher price market.
Somebody mentioned before that a new Supra could be sold under the Lexus badge (based on the expected pricing), but I would never see a new Supra being sold as a Lexus.
Lexus Supra?
That just sounds so wrong.

They were $50k from 2003-2006 but beginning in 2007 they dropped the price $10k so it was only $40k for a loaded TT. I remember a friend of mine got a 2007 black/black 97TT with 4k miles at the dealer auction for $34k. I think they got out of the market too early.
Please no to CVT! I had to get a rental car for a week and it was a Nissan Altima with CVT transmission. Most boring car i've ever driven, it never shifts. You just mash on the peddle and it goes WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA all the way to top speed. Fun huh?
