have to get a new plate for my car and the new Georgia license plate is so busy and ugly imo. ive noticed many states are going to very artsy and busy designs. whats wrong with simple? i think tennessee is also one of the worst. the best? californias simple design. at least we dont have to sport that ugly plate on the front of our cars in georgia.

yeah I enjoy my CA plates. Also like Oregon and Colorado plates

 

I had this plate on my last car here in Utah. It's a little busy, but not too bad(or maybe I've just been accustomed to seeing them my entire life).


We have 2 plates to choose from in Utah. This is the other one, which I put on my current car to distinguish it from my mother's. She has the same car, including color, but she has the above plate.


And that plate has been around for about 4 years, it replaced this one:

 

I absolutely despise NY's new yellow plates. yuck.

As far as best, it's tough, id prefer no plates if it were up to me.

 

I like Utah's Life Elevated plate above there. Very simple and classic looking.

This is Michigan's standard plate.

Not sure if it's New Mexico or not, but some state in the West has the dumbest new design. All the letters and numbers are "crossed out" with a fancy stripe going across the center. You can't read the digits and I'm surprised the police allows it.

Ga has a ton of specialty plates too.

 

I hate the new standard GA plates, but they do have a simple white one that has a peach on the background - no picturesque landscape. If I had to change mine, I'd probably get that one.

 

Yea I love GA for the specialty plates. We also have a standard plate that is similar to the old style, so you don't have to get the colorful, artsy one.
