Lexus just released a new website where we can submit our ideas for new engines, vehicles and general feedback. It will be run till the May 31st although Lexus didn't promise us that it will answer every single idea, they will indeed read all of then.
I think this is a really good chance to show Lexus how big is the actual Lexus Community. We could tell them about the GS, more sporty accessories, more hybrid engine options, the LF-LC coupe production model and so son.
Lexus really does listen. They've proved that to us when IS F and CT first came out. Please do register on the site and give your feedback. Andrew Kirby is the Lexus global product & marketing planning General Manager. He will read your comments and take them back to the bosses at TMC for review. Don't miss out on this!!!
I'm hoping to submit:
1. More customizable build options with a la carte options instead of bundling.
2. Fold down rear seats from the trunk, even if it's an option. Can't tell you how crucial this can be if the sedan is your only car.
3. Some forced induction powertrains
4. More coupes!
5. A manual transmission somewhere in there, not just an IS250 side option.
Thank you all for being a part of the Lexus Ideas Engine project, we were thrilled by your response.
Over May and June, your contributions reached almost 350 suggestions and 580 comments, with ideas and conversations on a variety of topics. We read everything, and have shared these insights within Lexus to stimulate conversation amongst our planning teams.
In recognition of your contributions, we filmed a short video highlighting the two most popular ideas as voted by you, and I have also commented on the Top 10 ideas on the Lexus Ideas Engine website.
So once again, thank you to each and every one of you for making your voice heard in our enduring quest to make Lexus better.
Lexus Owner Stories
I am also pleased to announce we have just launched a new section on the Lexus Global website — Lexus Owner Stories. This will allow you to share stories about your Lexus, as well as enjoy stories from other owners around the world.
We are excited about this project, and hope to read about the great experiences and memories of Lexus owners. You can begin to share your own Lexus story.
That sucks, I didn't even know there was a website where I can give them a piece of my mind. Hope they open up another one of these customer feedbacks.
i think the website, feedback, and lexus responses are extremely well done. great job lexus! not aware of another brand that has done this in this way (vs. traditional 'clinics' etc.)
