You see plenty of those here on the Old Continent. The car itself is very nice and it sounds great too!

to be honest, I would bet the owner is either current or prior military. He came back stateside and shipped his car he bought over there. All the new euro stuff is supposed to meet more strict standards for manufatcuring than the US standards, so importing should not be an expensive proposition from europe...

Plates on it look like the newer Manufacturer plates that have been floating around in Michigan, I see quite a few in my travels. Could have been a manufaturers rep, testing the car here in the states. Lots of them will take cars out to get "public" opinions on them. And since it looks so much in line with the current Ford lineup, not many would question what it is. Most, who don't know cars, would think that the person SERIOUSLY hooked up a Focus; but we here know better. LOL!! Car does look good tho!!

Pretty much matches to where the ORIGINAL Focus hatchback's tail lights were. With them being LED and almost melting into the pillar themself, it seems to flow much better and is not as bland/blatent as the prior models tails were.

Good eye, sir! Those are, in fact, Ford's Manufacturer plates.

For a moment, I was going to say they could be Mexican plates, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle...ates_of_Mexico

but then I remembered that all Mexican states also have plates in the front

This was floating around last year, I think there are 2 here. One is a Ford executives car and another guy bought one in Mexico and drove it back
