SO beautiful. I can't help, but to fall in love with the new design like I did with the old one.

Can we haz real NSX and not kit car on old NSX with 250k miles? Think I will build my LFA II on the old SC 400 with 250k miles

Honda blew it trying to draw parallels with the CRX and CR-Z. I see they are attempting to do the same here. Lets hope the results are much better.

Assuming that an average human pushing will all of his might can generate about 1.2hp for at least a few seconds... That car looks to be powered by 3.6hp.

Looks like the new NSX has the same problem as the last NSX.

Honestly, I like the old one better. I've always been a huge fan of the NSX, though, so I'm probably a bit biased.

This new one looks like someone took a picture of a Gallardo and a picture of a TL and pressed the "what will my kids look like" button. I'm just not feeling it.

The problem with Honda/Acura is that they're painfully slow to deliver, and when they finally do, they under deliver. The production cars never come out with the sleek and aggressive lines and edges that their concepts have. They are muted and rounded.

Next is that the market tends to move on by the time they finally decide to produce - I don't doubt that it'll be produced again, but may not be until 2015 or 2016. If it was being released this year, I would pull the trigger, but when they tow and tease the market along, they lose people along the way.

Currently, the Acura line of vehicles looks like garbage. They have since 2008 when they went with this idiotic plastic shield design, and they refuse to change - even though they continue to be listed as the ugliest production car every year since by companies like Forbes, previous Acura owners, and the buying public:

The hating public calls it "The Beak."

Just to clear any confusion, rumor is a mistake.
That rumor must have come from a pretty clueless person, verrrrrrry clueless for that matter and for anyone (not saying you) to believe that.

Crappy ilx can be found in that price......heck look at the price on an older NSX.

if the next nsx has a starting price of 34k, i hate to say but i am pretty sure it won't be something that exciting or in the caliber of a super fast sports car, something that the original (and only) nsx did about 20 years ago

The new NSX will not be priced anywhere near 34K, it is going to be more expensive then the last one. There is no confirmation of a bare bones non e SHAWD model either, there are rumors they might use a rwd only version without the hybrid gear to race but that has not been confirmed either.
