Agreed that from that teaser I see Audi. I like most Audi designs, even if the sedans are all the same. Audi understands proportions, they make FWD cars (AWD option) look RWD. They look like luxury cars.

In some forms they are incredible without being overboard like the S5. Again surely that big bold grill is concept only, I just cannot see Lexus going that route.

The wheel arch up front is interesting b.c the GS has never really had one each generation.

More than the car itself, I'm eager to see who's on the design panel, and if they hired outside designers

Nice.

I really am seeing a very Japanese look here, Lexus has used Samauri masks for influence on front ends. Gundam almost?

A mix of that with Audi could be full of win!

flip - those back lights look like evolution of Lexus lights and FT concept... nothing like Audi... And Lexus had those wrapper back lights lot before Audi, so did many Toyota models.

Deep front grille sure, they started using it in concepts since few years back (on Toyotas) and I bet we will see them in future products.

But overall look is very asian, very Japanese, as it should be.

It is like LFA metting lexus sedan meeting FT-S.

^I agree, that looks FANTASTIC and I'm betting the production front end will probably be similar to that.

Nice chop

I also agree with spwolf that I see more of a mix of previous Toyota concepts here, and less so Audi or any other manufacturer.

Members, I've pruned some personal commentary that's over the line and echo the moderator's comments to keep this thread on topic of the new GS CONCEPT car pics, not on the people posting in this thread.

knihc2008, please exit this thread.

Interesting how the mesh on the grill is reversed from top to bottom. Gives it a different play on separation instead of continuing the painted bumper fully across the front as seen in the photoshop above. Hopefully it will make the grill not look so vertical and imposing like Audi's.

Like the LFA II concept they did an awesome and unique job with the LED placement. Hopefully this time, something like that will make it to production. The rear light is pretty awesome as well. Cant wait to see the full reveal.

I dont get what you are trying to show me? Is the grill mesh different from the top? Thats a dark painted grill bezel and the mesh does not continue to the bottom. Much different than the grill Lexus used for the concept.

Different color.
