Default 2011 CLS Official Thread

Certainly looks very futuristic. Definately see that concept car that was revealed a few months ago in this sedan. Looks like LED fogs and LEDs in the headlight housings. Also, looks like they took design cues from BMW with the pointed/verticle nose. I like it!

Pole is in the way but I'm liking the rear. Tail lights remind me of a Kabuki performer

Very nice update to one of the greatest designs I've ever seen.

1) Holy wheel gap

2) What size are those wheels? 15"?

3) Like every other recent Mercedes design, I find this to be unnecessarily busy.

4) Once again, like other recent Mercedes designs, I see a lot of Asian influence in the rear end.

I know Mercedes did it first but still, the resemblance is hard to ignore:

It uses a lot mix-and-match designs from other cars on the road.

It sorta has lots its personality...

that sonata is more of the old/current CLS with the crease going from front to back. But the new one has a crease going the other way

not liking how vertical the grill is from the side. Its not bad overall, but could be better.

The original CLS was a work of art. I'm not loving the redesign.

I'm not sure what to think. It's not really impressive but at least it's not awfully ugly.

I think the problem is there are too many hard angles mixed with soft curves.
