Lime Green GS300
I actually like the color.
Too many cars, IMO, are painted like hearses.
But the 24s? ...............................
Puh-leaze.

I'll agree at least to the extent that automotive colors don't HAVE to be lollipop/pastel or sports-car-bright to be attractive. One of the most attractive shades, IMO, and still not rainbow-bright, is called Amythist, a gorgeous purplish-gray if done correctly....Cadillac did a great job with it in the 1990's. Another is Coral, an orangish hue that is not bright orange, but a subdued pinkish/reddish-orange. Another is Copper/Burnt-Orange. Another is Teal/Aqua Blue-Green. Another was Saturn's Silver Plum, offered in the late 90's, similiar to Amythist but somewhat lighter. And still another is Saffron, a light amber/yellowish/orange color that Volvo made famous with the first-generation C70 (I'm sure you remember it).
But you just don't see those colors anymore. Pick up the average auto brochure today and, with a few exceptions here and there for the sportier models, it's the same old color-plates over and over again.....silver, black, gray, burgundy, light or dark blue, beige/gold, and white or White Pearl.
