Alternatively, they could give me a set of PS3s for my M and I'll have at them

Maybe b/c after all these years the PS2 is still a top 5 performance tire, if not top 3 an considered by many to be #1.

yeah, no kidding, the ps2 still kick some serious butt out there. it's just amazing how good the tire grip

From what I hear, PS3s are not as good as PS2s. Ask Rider - apparently these have been out in the middle-east for over 6 months...

I contacted TireRack and apparently, the PS3 will NOT be replacing the PS2 so the pricing will probably not change. The representative also said the PS3 will only be for O.E in North America so size is very limited. Only a few cars have them at the moment.
I was hoping the PS2 will be on clearance, but I guess not.
