So my buddy and I were talking about sports cars. More precisely we were talking about the C63, IS-f, GT-R, M3, Cayman, 911. Which of these cars would attract the most ladies?Stock or Modded.
for somewhat comparable MSRP... I think most ladies will agree w/ my assessment below...
E350 coupe convert > C63
SC430 > IS-F
Jag XK /SL550/CL550 > GT-R
650i > M3
Cayman, 911, Boxster (Porsche is a Porsche)... they dont know the difference...
hmm, I'm not sure if my opinion counts here since I'm not interested in dating a guy for his car but:
1) I don't know that you can compair the IS-F to the SC430 - they're just too different so I don't know if you can say one is better/worse.
2) Almost the same deal with the 6 v. the M3. A 6-series is like a big GT car where the M3 is more like a sport car
3) I whole heartedly disagree on 'a Porsche is a Porsche'. A Boxter is always less impressive and a complete fluff-chick car.
of course you cant compare SC to IS-F; 6 to M3, but I believe most women prefer coupe over sedans, and "Most" women doesn't know what a "M", "AMG" & "F" is anyhow...
it definitely depends on the lady. i know a few, including my bestest, who loves the F above all those other cars because its a Lexus. badging is key to some women. some like the Mercedes, and a few like the Porsches, but overall it all about a lady's desires. plus, black and red seem to be done deals for them. they love the elegance and flash, which i like as well.
on a similar note, my gal pal's brother got a GTR, but she told me it was a 370z initially. i went over to their house cuz the brother wanted to show it off, and i told her thats no 370z. she was like..."i thought two door nissans were 370s". cute in a sense, but definitely a girl can have a badging stereotype.
my buddy recently got a CLK550 coupe (same color as my car) and my wife was like WOW, that's a really nice car... and I was like thats the same crap I'm driving (E-class) except it has two doors, but she was like, well it's much nicer... She always saying MB aint all that, and I was surprised to see her reaction on that car..
I have never considered the chick magnet criteria when selecting a car. Sounds silly to me.
I know some guys need help but think of the kind of girl you'd be stuck with who is attracted to your car and wallet. She may look good but that eventually wears off.
Confidence is attractive to most women. You can't change your looks but you can become more confident. Try that. Not superficial crap like car selection.
How very distasteful. I know of a few police forces in the area that see a vehicle like that as a sign to look for a **** poor driver. Usually ends up with those in a sling when they get pulled over, too. Amusing the first, and maybe the second, time you see it but that amusement wears off. Now I think they're just idiotic accessories.
