Quote: Thanks for keeping the replies positive, guys.

CCXR was closer to $1 mil. and for that money I would've probably saved some more and bought a Bugatti (just kidding).

Koenigsegg makes 12-16 cars a year... so yes, I am very fortunate that I am priviledged enough to purchase one, let alone get it within 18 months. I guess it's the economy, because the representative told me that usually 18 months is the time it takes before the car is even taken in to be built.

Firstly, I don't like the LF-A. Secondly, it would be impossible for me to get one.
Another congrats here

This is much nicer than the <ugly> bugatti

Having the money is one thing, but it's also being "cool" enough for toyota to pick you for the LFA is another issue

You've made the right choice. Much more unique and exclusive than the LFA. Though it should be since it's a whole different animal.

Congrats!

Like I mentioned beofre the car will be registered in the state of Florida and shipped back and forth between Clearwater, Florida and Plattsburgh, New York with the change of seaons (winter/summer).

I'll be able to tell you more about the doors in 17 months.

Quote: Our family has a nice piece of property in the state of Florida, in the Indian Rocks Beach/John's Pass area. The car will thus be registered stateside. It would be far too complicated and expensive to import the car into Canada... the Cash and Cars Lottery imported one to give away as a prize here in Canada, and it cost them more than $1 mil. when all was said and done. I will soon be spending my winters down in Florida to take care of the businesses we are opening there.

When the summer comes, the car will be shipped up to Plattsburgh International Airport, where I will be picking it up and driving it across the border into Canada and enjoying it all summer. When the winter comes, the car will be shipped back down to Clearwater International Airport. It's already a big scheme, this car. Most people who own supercars here in Canada do this... it costs much less to register and insure.

hey!! i live near the indian rocks area! i hope i get to see it driving
