Because the last time I pointed out a CL member who was lying, kyang91, about the dozen cars he claimed to own, I had my threads locked and a warning given saying that I would be banned for "insulting" other members if I brought it up again.

I actually read this thread for the first time last night and first impression I got from reading the original post was that this douche just sounds like he's trying to show off. And then I read all of his responses and thought its odd for someone who operates so many businesses to spend so much time and effort replying to a thread like this. He said he owned several restaurants including fast food which require substantial amount of attention from the owners. It also seemed odd that a restauranteer from Canada would set up businesses in Florida and also think about selling petroleum, lmao. It just sounded a little off.

 

How bout the USA? Is it possible to bring one here?

Seems like every year, we get a victim of epic ownage proportion and it looks like he is the first victim this year. People should know, by know, that ANY information can be found out just about ANYWHERE with some investigating. Actually feel sorry for him that he felt that he had to go thru this much trouble to be "accepted" on the forums. Honesty is always the best practice. It would not have made a difference if had owned a Honda, or a SmartCar, as long as he was upfront with it. This forum is for car enthusiasts as well as Lexus owners alike. If his story is true(doubtful), he has ALOT of damage to reverse here. If the story is total BS (high probability, especially with the new facts), then let this be a lesson to you; BS get you nowhere but exposed in the end.

BTW,, gonna go against the grain here. Koenigsegg is one of the few truly exotic cars around. Just not feeling it tho. Can think of many better ways to spend that kind of money, if I had it. Will never have to worry bout that tho, I KNOW I can't afford one, but can still be happy for those that do.

 

I would have to review the registry...off the top of my head I am not sure.
As you can see we didn't have an issue with Koenisgsegg. I personally think the car is fabulous and amazing. I also think Mr. Koenisgsegg is amazing to fulfill his dream and bring a car to market that in many ways surpasses the status quo. Knowing he is a nice humble guy is even better.

We don't get off on humiliating people. It is the internet and if people want to fantasize, hey so be it. However when you become pompous, when you insult people, insult the brand of the forum you are a member on and have our members ARGUING constantly in threads we have an issue. His last post, his response to bitkahuna was out of line and rude.
