M3 does anyone have or know someone with one?does anyone kknow if the arm rest slides fwd.?

yeah, just pull it forward but only on the driver side half. I accidentally found it out.

lol cool, so that explains why there is a "split" on the armrest. boy should have read the manual in more details!

hahhaa at least you didn't read! i flipped through the pages and didn't notice!

just tried it today when driving outside. indeed it slides forward though i have to say it doesn't really help much though in my case

Most BMW (00+ at least) have the adjustable driverside armrest. My parents 00 528i, and their 07 530i both have it lol

yep, vw/audi's have had the ratcheting/sliding armrest for some time now too (98/99). Most new Honda/Acuras, but not ratcheting. I never use this feature.
