I thought I missed an inflammatory post when you only quoted the first sentence. Did you read WHY he came to that conclusion? It was with EXPERIENCE. Thus he is entitled to his opinion.

Benz's suck! Our mb is still a pita after 3 yrs of ownership. Warranty is nice and all but I'm sick and tired of wasting my time of getting my car in and out of dealership. After so much hesitation my wife and I decided to get rid of our 06 C230 and trade it in for a Lexus GX sometime next month

I love merc's, just their reliability, especially the older ones. When i say i could get a 1999 s500 for the same price as a 2000 es300 with the same miles, i was ecstatic, until i realized how much it would really be to buy a car like that. 1993-1999 s class was definitely a car that deserved to have the same bulletproof reliability as the mercs before it

I owned 2 BMWs and due to problems with both BM's wasn't able to keep them for very long. I however will not say BMW sucks, i think this is harsh.
(unless this dude owned 10 MB and they all sucked) That's just my opinion. Besides this dude is saying my car sucks 
, maybe if he said his C-class sucks, I wouldn't care at all. I do say "my" 5-series did suck because I had too many problems with them.
but I will never say BMW as a whole suck! That's just me...

Do you guys realize that you are in Lexus forum ? I had the Mercedes and the lexus but I must admit that I like my mercedes(CLK) more than my lexus(2GS) and NO I dont have any problem with my CLK. I bet this thread will be at least 10 pages long because I know that I am in Lexus forum and 99% ppls here will choose Lexus over MBZ just like I was in BMW forum they were comparing Mercedes and BMW...ok guess who won ?
