We’re huge fans of matte-black and feel that it’s now a popular enough color for manufacturers to offer it in the color palette. Lexus is showing this matte-black LF-Xh concept in Paris right now, and we have to say it looks a lot better than the one we saw at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
The LF-Xh concept is powered by a V6 gasoline engine and is matted to a high-output electric motor hybrid system. It also gives us a major hint at what the 2010 Lexus RX SUV will look like.
Throw this right up there with the LP640, Veyron, SLR McLaren 722, LP560-4, GT-R and the BRABUS Bullit Black Arrow.
Was the new RX supposed to be getting a third row of seats like the X5?
no, lexus stated they didnt want to turn it into a minivan. they did research on the demographic and their buyers are usually the typical american familes. two kids only.
^^^ No how about the sort of guys who designed the sc 300 or 400, or the people who did the first generation gs300, or the second generation gs. I am not saying lexus cars are ugly, infact i like them, but yes a little "flare" would help
I am not a fan of the styling exercise but Lexus had some nuts painting it flat black...though a SUV flat black is kinda lol...how about an LF-A in it?
