Im interested in buying one of these cars. Does anyone here own one have any info to give on them. I want an 05 with the premium and cold weather packages and NAV.

 

Lighter and more HP than the standard E46 330i. I have a 2002 330i automatic with sports suspension, premium package, and navigation, and HK audio. Common problems on E46 is window regulator clips tend to break (Mine only has 24K miles so no problem there for now) and the sunroof shade clips break. Mine broke so the shade comes off the track. You can buy new clips for $20 or so and DIY. Pretty good car all around though. As long as you keep up with the maintenance you shouldn't expect anything major to happen. I bought mine used and went with an extended warranty that covers me until July 2011 or 60K miles, but yours should fall under factory warranty, but if you plan on keeping it for a while I might think about extending the warranty just in case. So far I haven't had to use it.

check around BMW forums... they're coming off leases and financing programs so looking around will get you lucky.
