yea but correct me if im wrong isnt the saleen like 100k? or somewhere in that range?
No. They vary in price, depending on which of the three S281 models you choose. The Saleen S281 Mustang range from ~$43,000 to $72,000, again, depending on the model.

i went to the dealership today and they wouldn't budge on the price of 26k+ tax. I prob would not get it now b/c I can't justify myself buying a 06 GT with Auto and grey exterior (which is the worst combination) for that price. would you??

An automatic may or may not be a good idea, depending on your driving conditions. In dense stop and go traffic, it can be a real blessing. I agree with you, though, that gray certainly would not be my first choice either, especially for a Mustang.
If you recall the post where I gave you the KBB figures, 26K sounded pretty good, but make sure the car doesn't have a problem that justifies that lower-than-KBB price.
I was on the road with one of my friends in his Jaguar S-type and we just happened to race a new Mustang GT. The power in the stang was not impressive on the road at all. The GT could keep up behind us, but everytime he tried to pass he couldn't, and it wasn't because of traffic either.
0-60 5.0 Seconds... but after its second gear it seems to boggle down its power...just like every ford.
