Favorite Executive Class Luxury Sedan
If there had been a fourth I would have added the E class. I am shopping this class and the slightly bigger luxury sedans right now and I feel a bit two faced as I am very, very reluctant to get an A6 but every time I get close to one, I have to say that I do like a lot about that car.
The 5 and the A6 are the top of my list for this class. In terms of driving enjoyment, the 5 wins hands down, but the A6 is appealing. And plus, it doesn't have that ridiculous electronic gearshifter, although MMI is a problem.
Well, I guess I can't vote. What's the deal with polls that end in less than a week?
Anyway, RL, GS for me. Definatetly no German cars for me, they suck.
I've been working at an Acura dealership for about 3 months now so I've been able to drive a ton of different cars. Japenese cars are far and away the best. BMW's are very cheap and plasticy inside and are way overhyped on driving dynamics. Nevermind the totally messed up configuration in German cars interior layouts. Everything is opposite the universal standard.
Anyone who has been in an RL, would definatley put it on their list. It's is the same class as a BMW 5 series but feels about $20,000 more expensive. Seriously. The 5 has miles of plastic and cheap looking hardware while the RL is as plush and luxurious as cars come with expensive wood, leather, and aluminum where BMW puts plastic.
Oh, and the RL drives waaay better than the Bimmer. Hell, the entry level TSX is better the the 5 series.
