That list is well over a year old now. I know at least two of those locations no longer carry it. I know this for a fact as I went there every month from March-April and they kept telling me they no longer carry it and will not be. As for the the other's, I cant say definitively. But, no less, that list IS dated (April 2006).
If your car calls for 5w30 or 0w30, I wouldn't get a 5/0w40. Generally those thicker oils are for cars designed for long oil change intervals. If you can find the Helix, that'd be fine, but I've never personally seen it. Since it's relatively easy to mail-order, I'd just go with the Amsoil. You can use their Product Selector to find the particular oil(s) they recommend for your car. Joining their Preferred Customer Program gets you about a 30% discount, and pays for itself by the second order (first, in my case) also.
It's a bear to find, but a local Maserati dealership carries it.
Yup Agip is the factory fill for those cars. My oilchange guy carries that stuff. Had some members go to his shop for Agip & Amsoil and they are very pleased with both oils.

Your knowledge is also obsolete, one of the AZ took GC label off the shelf but I was able to get a case from 5w-30 section last week. The one I bought is from M07 lot, which indicates the manufacture date is 2007, so GC is alive and well.
i use mobil one as well, bec they use it in formula one and the fact that they are coming out with new formulations that contain detergents that keep the engine from sludging for 5,10,15k between interval.
I've wanted to ask questions about the oil weight..
It's recommended in my manual to use 10w30....but I have no idea what these weight values mean...and what different weights matter where...
The "W" stands for winter (meaning at 0c). The lower the # means the higher the viscosity. If an oil is 5W30, that means it acts as a "0" oil at freezing but a "30" weight oil at operating temp. If an oil is too thin, it wont stick to the parts properly, and if the weight is too thick, it wont work as well in the small crevasses. The reason why an oil would act very thin at freezing would be for an easier start-up. Rear diffs use like 100 weight oil, the stuff is like tooth paste.
