interior looks pretty darn good though eh
similar design as the Auris

ive heard rumours about the new corolla having a hybrid drive train too
not surprised since toyota did announce that they will have a hybrid version of every car in their lineup soon

oh one thing i hate about this design is the rear bumper lights
they only sort of work on sunfires
but then sunfires shouldnt be considered as cars but a pile of poop on wheels instead... lol

 

Those pics were released a while back.

Although that is the "international" Corolla, it is still not confirmed if the U.S. will get the same version.

 

this must be the euro version or something. rear tailight has 1 reverse lamp and the other is red presumably for rear fog light

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates the bulging lights.

 

I dont like the notch they gave it on the front bumper under the Toyota emblem... there is really no need for it down there considering that they put the emblem at the top of the grille.

 

Yeh, even the article linked to us in the OP says "edited January 19, 2007" LOL

Anyways I think the Camry looks way better than this which is a reversal for me b/ c back in '03 MY when the Corolla came out I thought it looked better than the Camry('02-'06).

exterior looks hideous IMO....interior looks nice though.

Toyota messed this generation up in my opinion..the design..well looks boring.
