DAMN!! That school bus ruined that Hummer. Hope the driver was alright.

i find no humour in this at all nor is the pink smilie for the OP of the thread amusing

any words on the condition of the driver?
hope ppl slow down for school buses if not for others safety then for their own

 

Dang - I had no idea those school buses were that strong! It's almost perfectly intact! A good thing too.....

Driver may have been alright, any passenger would have been killed without a question. I totally agree that the pink smiley face isnt appropriate for this photo. Lets hope something like this never happens to anyone you know.

 

Wow, that's horrible. It was a bit hard to figure out though... The first pic shows the ENTIRE front passenger section destroyed so if there was anyone in there they're lucky if they're alive. The second pic shows the driver's side was more 'intact' but from the first pic you'd think more of the driver's side would have been under the bus given the angle, but perhaps it came in at the opposite angle (passenger side first) and was 'swung around' by the impact with less of the driver's side going underneath?

Either way, a horrible accident and definitely not a 'dailyhaha' as the image is stamped.

 

I think he put the smiley to signify how cheaply newer cars are built. Would the same happen to an older Hummer H1? As for this accident, it has happened to my bus when i was in middle school, as i was getting up, some dude had a heart attack and rear ended our bus, the bus jolted maybe 3 small times, but when we saw the car, it was halfway under the back of the bus.

 

That sucks, I had no idea that school buses were so safe. I mean it almost make me feel that kids are safer taking the bus to school then riding in a car.
BTW the red face the 1SICKLEX posted is for emberessment, not a laughing one or something like that. I mean if I was still alive I would be emberessed that I hit a big YELLOW school bus.

 

It's not that the bus is built strong, it that American cars are build to suck. I sure hope it was a GM executive driving in that hummer.

dam, and werent people stating that school buses arent safe or should be safer. I think the inside of the bus and sides of buses are where the improvements need to be made, I think this would have been a different story if the hummer hit the bus on its side.

but dam the rear end sure can take an impact. that H2 just crinkled like an empty soda can, When I saw the title I was expecting to see fair damage to both the bus and the hummer.
