I never stated that BMW can "beat" Porshe. I indicated that it can "compete" with Porshe. The M coupe gives the Porshe Cayman some stiff competion. Lexus may get into the frey someday with products like the upcoming IS coupe which will be a cousin of the 08 Supra. Work on the suspension and driving dynamics Lexus.

Dang can I like agree with you 100% on this, at one time that list of cars below use to read GS/LS/LX all previous gens and as they do these changes they loose me one by one to the German makes. I'm just hanging on by my LX.

Exactly. This explains why I'm driving a Lexus right now, and not a BMW. BMW didn't offer the right product for me this time around.

Some BMW drivers do drive aggressively ......others are quite sensible.

Nobody.....NOBODY.......as a general group, drives worse than V8 Mustang jocks. They take the cake, hands-down. I've written and posted on this matter many times.

I do have a soft spot for 2 Bimmers, the 1996-2003 E39 5 Series, and the 1995-2001 E38 7 Series. By far my favorite Bimmers style wise - my cousin's husband owns a 98 528i.
