Well with the Q being failure since 89 I saved a ***** load of money which is great plus I get way more features than both the LS430 and Audi (Lets not forget the car that first put the rear view camera in a car). Plus my car was faster than either when I test drove an 05 Audi A8 and 05 LS430. The Q was faster hands down and was more comfortable than either and not to mention more bells and whistles. The Ls430 is just too bland and looks dated and lost my interest after a test drive and ride was too mushy. I almost got the Audi A8 but I see them all day long and I just liked the styling of the Q more.

Fair enough, but again, let us wait for other comparos and for a full review of a production LS from C & D before making any conclusions.
From what I have gathered at Japanese websites, the pre-production LS samples provided at the Austria event were extremely early builds, whose main purpose was to simply preview the LS, and to begin the flow of information to consumers.

I do think that other tests will get better times.

I'm less worried about the 0-60 than I am about the braking distances. If they don't improve, dramatically, that will be something to worry about. In the latest C&D look at the SUV test. Only the Navigator stopped as badly with the two best SUVs stopping in 170

i agree with you completely man. i don't really care that much about the 0-60, but if the real braking is anything close to that then it's definitely horrible, they better fix it or do whatever it takes to bring back what the 98 gs400 did. over 200 ft 70-0, that's scary at best
