Cool The mobile home - complete with garage

It is a home away from home with all the mod cons of 21st century living.

But as well as its spacious dining room, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping quarters, the Volkner Mobil mobile home comes with one added extra - a garage for your car.

Where on a more conventional vehicle you would expect to find a hold for luggage, a 'door' beneath the main body of the vehicle opens up to reveal a space large enough to stow a family car.

It is perfect for travellers hankering after a little more freedom on holiday, allowing them to take on excursions or trips to the supermarket without having to uproot the entire contents of their motor home at the same time.

The latest take on mobile living is on display at the International Caravan Fair in Dusseldorf, Germany, where it will remain until September 3.

I was watching HGTV? where they had the newest rv's out there where one motorcoach could store a car also. The garage was in the rear and it carried a mini.
I guess to make new motor coach, the ooohs and ahhhs is to make them with a garage

Yep, pretty much any small car. Im sure an xA can fit in there too. How about a g35 or an sc430?

That is pretty cool. It was only a matter of time before we saw something like this.

I too would love to own a huge RV like this one day. Saw some show on TLC where a guy had a custom RV(the size of a tour bus) that rides on water. Looked crazy seeing it pass other regular boats. lol

If you can afford the price of this RV, then it's highly you have something this 'low' in your inventory.

lol, i think a ferrari is bigger than that slk

btw, isn't slk a 2 seater coupe? so that pic is pretty misleading. assuming the guy is driving the car, so who's going to stay behind

When you titled the tread with the words "mobile home," I expected to see a double wide...

I'd call that rig a "motor coach."

Pretty cool idea- beats dragging a car behind on a tow bar or car dolly.
My guess is that the height of the vehicle is restricted- with todays taller and taller cars (have you seen the new Camry?), I'm sure they would encroach on interior space.

It looks like the coach raises itself to provide more clearance underneath. My MR2 would go in there fin... certainly the NSX. Not sure about the GS, though!

BTW, a diesel pusher like that is probably $400K +

rom, you read my mind. Why advertise an RV with room for a 2 seat car, then use a family of 3 in your ad?

This would be great if you're older and your children have “flown the coupe.” You could sell your house and buy that exact setup (minus the model wife and kid).

Look at the SLK...its roof almost scratched. I think the xA is too tall to fit. Seems to me that only some low profile sporty cars can fit.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's > 2 mil, actually.
