strut removal
Actually, this is not GS specific question. I'm trying to replace the strut for my Toyota Highlander lift gate. The strut is pretty much the same as the one on GS hood.
Can anyone give me info one how to remove the strut ball joint? Do I need pickle fork or just use screw driver to pop it out? It's the round shaped (about 1/2 inch in diameter) metal piece at the each end of the strut inserted into the mouting bracket. Thanks.
