its bosozuko. Early stages of VIP before the more EXE styles took over. This style is still found on some older cars, and in Bosozuko cars (remember that huge thread on VWvortex way back with all the insane vans, huge muffler tips, etc...?)
vip car and culture is quite deep and actually sorta weird. It doesn't make sense like us americans would like it to. (big sedan that cost money, must be vip.) Hell, a lot of diehard vip clubs do not accept european models to be members.
Why wouldn't a bad *** 7 series be eligible to be VIP!? It's certainly better than the 300C with the Wal*Mart interior.
I'm tired of these 300C's already. For some reason, they have lost the little bit of class I perceived them as having in the beginning. They seem too cheap looking to me now.
Where are these self-appointed VIP clubs of which you speak? In Japan only or other places? What is the process by which something becomes 'blessed as VIP'? Some kind of sacrifice in a parking lot?
They are in Japan... There are not enough tuners interested in VIP in the US for there to be a major presence. Talk to Robert about where the clubs are, or buy a VIPcar Video and watch some of the club footage. It really is interesting, and will shed some light into the whole cutlure / style.

Becuase VIPcar's are VIP becuase of their chassis... not because of their cost. In Japan, there are clubs for "foriegn" cars, then there are clubs for VIPcars. You will rarely see a 7 series or in a VIPcar club. You will sometimes see a "few" benz's, but not many.
Hell, to the outsider, the 7 series, the s-class, the audi a-8, the XJ8, the STS or CTS, the Lincoln LS, etc all look like suitable VIPcars... but its not like that- Its really hard to explain. I really urge you to pick up or borrow a VIPcar Video. You can find them- check out the classifieds on VIPstylecars.com every now and then, or talk to a japanese book store. It will help firm up what VIPcar is all about.

The E-Class better be a VIP car then, since it's the same chassis as the 300.

The 300 isnt even a VIPcar chassis yet! lol- read the first post, I say that Anceltion has now made a 300C that may push the car in the kingdom of a VIPcar, (meaning that it has not yet happened... meaning the jury is still undecided... meaning the E-Class is NOT really a VIPcar. Like I mentioned earlier, there are magazines, clubs, and shows for Benz's in Japan that a seperate from the VIPcar events, magazines, and clubs.

I think that 300c is hot.. and definately vip. even if the chassis is not categorized as a vip one, yet, the styling done to the car is definately vip..
