TSXtacy, thanks for the full write-up. This feature in particular is awesome. No having to keep foot on gas or brake alternately in stop and go traffic - just steer and that's it! Every executive will love this so they can gab on the cell phone and just steer the car not worrying about hitting anything or getting honked at for not moving.

And I'll say it one more time, Lexus can't compete unless they get a suspension as sophisticated at this.

i'm not so sure about those wheel arches and wth is w/ the add-on trunk lid like the 7 series?! Not doubt in socal these things will sell like hot cakes just like every other benz that are sold there.

Some of the design cues look nice but the Maybach isnt what I consider stylish...

A member on our board took some pics of this car all disguised...

Great innovations and stellar safety features.....but it's just an ugly car from the outside.

Mark Levinson/Lexus started this high-end OEM system trend, and now others are getting up to speed and eventually surpassing it. Competition is a good thing.

From that wind tunnel picture I think it's going to be a HUGE success.

It's nice, but I'm confindent the new LS will stay ahead. Build quality, and materials seem far superior to the outgoing model.

It might be better than the GS, but wait till the new LS comes out. Even though we know nothing about the new LS I'm pretty sure Lexus wont disappoint. A good example of future ML systems was the concept system used in the IS430 from last year. 22 speakers, 7-8.1 surround sound, 600-700+ watts. Might not be that powerful, but we know what they are capable of doing.
