Default Does anyone have or driven a CLS350/CLS350

I purchased a new GS430 and love the car, but I think the CLS is the best looking 4-door around. I looked at a CLS500 and liked it but it was about $15,000 more than the 430. I'm very pissed to hear there is a CLS350. I'm stating to regret my decision. I Don't know what I want to do. I know the performane on the 430 is better than the 350 , but I love the Benz,

Here is a baby review I did a couple weeks ago

It seems in reading around, the major reason people buy the CLS is indeed, its looks, which I do really like, once it has the 18 or 19" rims. It cannot be confused with any other car with looks. Some hate the looks though, I think I've heard the "banana" a few times.

The CLS is built off the E-class platform, from my understanding, its a tad sportier.

I don't think the CLS350 is available here, at least not yet, & take a look at the current CAR magazine comparison, they rate the CLS350 last behind the GS300 & 530, that's says a lot since the Euro(especially the British) mags. usually are heavily biased against Japanese cars.

interesting i thought cls500 is the only available here.

anyway, the car definitely looks good. but the rear ends they are really tiny, the headroom is even worse. i guess it does mean like a coupe inside

Yeah, I was like when I first heard they call it a 4 door coupe, but I finally understand why they call it a coupe the first time I sat in the backseat.
I would pick the CL500 over it in a second, more roomy in the backseat & looks way better too, but more expensive.
