GS430/460 Performance.
I recently competed against a 430 with my 460, and surprisingly, the 430 aint a walk in the park. 430 was infront until 200km(weight is the reason I guess) but by the end of 400m, I am infront by a car length.
Tried against a G35 Sedan (hks cats) and I was infront by almost 1.5 car lengths by the end of the 800m run.
Have other members raced against other cars and what were the results?
P.S (430 is 280 HP and 460 is 322 HP) - Gulf Spec cars are detuned

He was talking detuned vs detuned as far as I could tell. The 430 and 460 are .1 to .3 seconds apart "on paper." That translates to a driver's race on the road. Under usual real world scenarios, cars that are <.5 or so apart are going to often show as fairly evenly matched. All the circumstances aside from the car that go into a given run are often to equal more than a .5 difference one way or the other.

Fair enough. Tires also make a big difference in these comparisons. I have seen improvement since I switched from the Bridgestone touring tires to the Michelin PilotSport2s.
I have not done a test of GS460 vs. GS430, but I have dragged a GS350 and pulled out quite a bit. GS350 and GS430 seem similar in performance on paper.

We have had conflicting reports on the weight gain of the 460. Some reports show 50 lbs, some show 200 lbs. If it is 200lbs, this will hurt performance, even if it has 8 gears vs 6.
My money every time though, is on the 460. No, the 430 isn't a slouch, it just is not as fast.

Well if my 322 HP dragged a G35; it aint slow :P
Can someone confirm this: "Do not launch the car with PWR mode on! Will cause too much wheel spin? Switch it on during the race" My friend told me this and surprisingly the car launched greatly and I managed to pass the G35 =0... Is this theory true?

Yes Yes i saw it, I had the exact same result. But the 2 runs I had with a modded G35 few days ago was totally different. He was infront for just about 300m or less, and then I dominate until 800m. Trust me, try a 40km roll on race and he WILL be smoked.

. I myself are not sure of this theory!
u'll hopefully smoke him!
