06 Audi S6 Spy Shots
Once again we've caught Audi off-guard - this time with their upcoming S6.
Audi is expected to introduce the S6 nearly a year from now at the Geneva Motor Show. But you can see it here, with its quad exhaust, modified rear fascia, and more aggressive mesh grille with larger openings for better air intake.
The S6 will be introduced with a 5.2-liter, 440-horsepower engine and a six-speed Tiptronic transmission, with a seven-speed DSG double-clutch transmission to follow.
That 440 horsepower not good enough? Well, if you can wait until 2008, a 5.5-liter FSI V-10 with 550 horsepower is expected.Source : thecarconnection

Sexy GREAT find, this is very early. From my reading, lamborghini was PISSED Audi was going to use a detuned Gallardo V-10. With BMW stuffing a V-10 in the M5, Audi will not be outdone.
HP figures you quoted sound right, according to CAR and EVO. It will have a V-10. The RS6 will have near 600hp.
The Gallardo will get a bump as well.

A friend of mine bought an A4 (I know not the same car we are talking about here), and in person, the grille does not look bad at all. In pics it looks a bit much, but not in person. I actually liked his car very much!
I was cruising pretty fast on the highway yesterday at 80 plus mph, and I saw this new model A6, in red, coming up pretty quick in my rear-view mirror.
Somehow, I think the grill looks pretty good in the mirror, like its 'taking in' all the space between my car and his car..
The dude just punched it and passed me on the right ... saw it was a 4.2.
Pretty quick car. Wonder how it would do with a slightly tuned GS430.
