Please explain, I'm a little ignorant on turbos.

Is it just that integras don't have carbs right vs. fuel injections, something in this line???

CARB = California Air Resource Board... EO = Executive Order

These "CARB EO" number are for exemptions from smog. Basically, a CARB EO number is issued by the state, saying that the aftermarket part is compliant with smog regulations.

too bad those engine bays dont look anything like the Greddy Turbo kits. Im waiting to see the guy that gets pulled over and the cop laughs at him... that engine bay is a mess!!! I think the only thing thats Greddy in there is the plaque... and thats a fake too!

They will try anything.

Years back there was a heavily modded Acura Integra at a repair shop I used to go. I asked the shop owner what that car was in for and he told me it was in for a return to stock order. It had been towed in and escorted by a police officer. The kid had heavily modded the engine which included removing all the smog devices.

I said, only the engine right? "No, suspension as well." It was written as unsafe and he was nailed not only for the ground clearance issue but headlight height and non-DOT lighting devices. He joked with me saying that by the time they are done with it, it sit and drive exactly as it came off the dealer lot...except for the huge vinyl graphics that they were going to leave on the car.

I don't condone this kind of stuff either, but IMHO, California could use a good low-CARB diet. That organization can be a pain in the a - -.

anyone notice that the US is probably one of a handful of countries that has Smog regualtions. seems like the rest of the world doesnt care. seems like our laws are a bit outdated. and also, whats the point of having strict *** laws in California if the rest of the US doesnt even come close to those? In FL we dont even have any smog rules. They deemed it to be not cost effective and the impact was no different in counties that didnt have them. so whats the point? Europe doesnt have any regulations, and thats where a whole slew of car companies are from. Same thing with Japan. makes me think we are hindering ourselves...

the electoral voting system is outdated too. Makes people don't wanna vote if they're not in swing states.
