Design awards for new 5 series & X3

The 5-series I can see, but the X3!?!

 

The X3 is hideous! What, are they blind?!

 

Give Chris Bangle and company a design award? Pardon me....I just threw up on my computer screen.

I thought that up to now I had seen just about everything on this forum, but this one takes the cake.

 

I totally agree the 5 series and the x series looks terrible. imo

Well.....at least the scooter doesn't have I-Drive. I guess it has I-Push instead.

Ok, I see how many people like the new 5-series (its growing on me as well). But the X3? I believe the X5 is much more attractive! And since when do people win awards for welding together three tubes of aluminum being attached to shopping cart wheels??

I think the new 5 is a great looking car, the interior is terrible though. I've been a passenger in a few 7 series and the I drive is horrible. I'm 17 years old and I'm into computers and gadgets and stuff but I can still never figure that thing out completely. Thats bad considering they are selling the car to people much older than I am, people that may not have grown up in the computer age like I have. The X3 is disgusting, I cant believe it would win anything. BMW has gone away from its roots on the styling of many of the cars, Personally I don't mind it too much but I wouldnt buy a car like the 7 or a z4 with the other possibilities on the market. I pray that they dont ruin the three series! Also thought that I would add that the lexus LS series is the greatest luxury car ever made in my opinion. (price, styling, features, reliability cant be beat)
