Im a Lexus enthusiast and I would like to buy a Lexus. I don’t like the Lucid Gravity and the Escalade IQ is too big. We want a plug in vehicle. What’s so hard to understand?

You bitched and moaned incessantly about the newer generations of the LS, why didn’t you just go buy something else instead of complaining? Because you're a Lexus fan and it frustrated you.

Different people have different wants and needs. Just like you have yours. Not sure why you think your way is the only right way. We have 3 cars with 2 drivers in the family. GX, NX and the Sienna. We actually reaearched the ev Highlander and considered it. Your head must be exploding from your own misconceptions lol

No I don’t lol, you’re just clearly an anti-EV guy. It’s not a big deal just own it.

People can be anti EV. People can be anti ICE. That is their prerogative.

100% agree, people should just own what they are though instead of posting a bunch of absurd **** and then trying to turn around and gaslight others about what they really think lol

I believe the IQ Escalade is just about as big as the gas one. But it sure doesn't look like it.

I really don’t understand people focusing on gas prices when its an expense that is not meaningful and has been well below the pace of inflation.

If anything, food prices are much higher - are you now going to Walmart instead of Whole Foods lol

At the 1% income, you should be able to handle modest swings in gas prices and it should not impact your long term car plans. The $3 gas will be here before midterms!

Its actually bigger than the gas one. Its in between the gas SWB and LWB in size. I think they look bigger than the gas ones too, the IQ is considerably better looking IMO.

When did I say I can't handle gas prices? My desire for an EV has nothing to do with gas prices.

I enjoy shopping for and finding the right cars for myself

Looking back it seems the Pacifica was a good score for you.

It had the space, range(Ice), and fits in the garage for a good price(on budget).

I thought it would be easy to get that in an Ev but it seems harder than it looks at the present time.

The PHEV Pacifica was a great buy. We should have gotten them the whole time (I had a 2017 and 2020 gas Pacifica before that). I resisted because I hated my wife's Prius so much it turned me off of hybrids for a long time. Also reliability concerns...its unfortunate that they cancelled it.

The TX550h+ would be an easy choice if it were more widely available. I have 4 months, I would just order one but Lexus doesn't really do ordering like that. Honestly a PHEV is the perfect vehicle for us there is just limited availability in the 3 row space. 2 rows I'd have plenty of options, 3 rows its much harder. 3 row EVs are coming out all over the place but none have broken out on range yet.

Like I said before, if this had 350 miles of range it would be perfect.

Why do you want a Lexus so bad? Lots of better options at $750k+ a year. Especially before settling all the way down to a Highlander plus. And you are clearly willing to step outside the brand because you drive an S Class now. Why settle?
