They still made the Eddie Bauer then too. Originally when the Explorer came out the Eddie Bauer was the top trim, the Limited wasn't added until 1993. My 1995 was a Limited too.
The Eddie Bauers came in all the colors but they all had the tan under trim and the tan interior. The green was the color they always used in advertisements, That was VERY 90s and people loved it!
Including me, the EB early explorers did look great. They were ridiculously popular as you say.
So had a meeting yesterday not far from Lexus dealer in NYC and decided to stop by. BTW this block also has Porsche, Audi, MB and BMW.
The Mercedes Benz dealership is by far the best one and has some amazing cars on display. BMW one which is owned by BMWUSA is complete embarrassment in comparison, even though they recently remodeled it.
Some Lexus pics including classic LS400 and some of the last LC500 Inspiration Series cars. Congrats to the lucky owners maybe on CL 👍
I remember seeing several posts on the old ML system Lexus vehicles. Today my friend was in a 2012 LS460L and he said the ML system is so much better compared to the ML in Lexus latest models.
Things aren't looking too bright for Eddie Bauer or Orvis at the moment. Our local Orvis store just closed. Looking like our Eddie Bauer may do the same. My parents first RX 300 was the Coach Edition that came with a big leather bag. One of my favorite Lexus vehicles. Lexus use to have some neat special editions like the Coach one and the Pebble Beach Edition.

LOL They need to make a "Dick's Edition" since that's the new big sporting goods store, at least around here... Dick's.

lol, or maybe a Bass Pro Edition with a fish on the headrests. Actually, Range Rover had a Hollander and Holland edition with bird illustrations on the seats and gun storage available in the hatch area. It’s really quite nice!
hate to say it, but it wasn't all that in the lc500, imo. very content/track dependent and way to front-focused.
LC isn't the LS . Yeah I dunno what it is!

I never had an LS500 but I drove them and listened to the audio system and thought it was just as good if not better, its WAY more power and way more speakers... but the ML in my LS460L was excellent. Second best audio system I have ever had, second only to the Burmester 3D in my S580.
