Lol it's the same way I feel about my Yukon refresh except this is even worse.

They took something that was perfectly fine and screwed it up. Steve's looks so much better.

I do love the lit up hood star, though. That's seriously cool. And I would like to see one of these in non AMG form. The head and taillight stars are just plain stupid.

 

That black surround around the grill that started with the E class is terrible.

Looks a little busy in the front but not too crazy.
Still has chrome, cool.

W222 is my favorite looking S Class, especially from the front...but the 223 is quickly getting there. I've gotten to where I prefer the 223 from the rear and the side. From the perspective of having had both cars though the 223 is the better driving car and the better car to live with day to day because of the tech, much better audio and quieter interior.

Except the stars... it doesn't look that much different to me, aka not bad. How do S owners feel about chrome? What's up with that MB blank plate in the front?

The grill on the refresh is much larger and then you also have the big black surround of the grill. The stars also are a huge part of it. S Class owners like chrome.

Haha, that was right when I got the car. This car was one of 6 specially built cars used to drive the MB F1 team around at the race in Miami in May 2024, thats why that plate is on there. My car was used to drive Lewis Hamilton. Since the front was drilled for a plate I run a Maryland front plate on it now:

It was new, not used. It had 500 miles on it, there was like a $1,500 rebate or something.
