Yeah it was a disaster when the E class came out with the Benz logos in the rear lights and now it's making its way across the lineup. Pretty terrible. Now that they changed the CEO, I'm hoping a slow return to understated elegance in the next generations.

Video released from MB marketing said they changed 2700 parts on this refresh so it's supposed to be pretty significant.

Honestly I don’t even notice the stars in the taillights or the E Class anymore

I don't think it lacks design per se, but it certainly lacks the look of craftsmanship, even if we give it the benefit of the doubt that it is well made. Hard to do with screens.

Gotta wait to see it in person. I have confidence they will do it well, it’s really important for them.

Also my guess is there will be an option without the super screen like they have in the E Class that will get more wood etc.

I have a feeling it will be super screen only; they made the EQS refresh with only wide screen, no other options.

That makes sense on the EQS, I don't know that the S Class will be that way because of the older clientele.

It's interesting they introduced this styling on E first then S. I personally don't like these stars. Is illuminated grille copied from BMW? Or BMW copied from somewhere else? Lol.

Funny you said that because I've been wondering this too.

It looks like it has some BMW flavor, or is it the other way around?

Very subtle but my sub-conscience is picking up on a pattern I can't quite put a finger on yet.

Looks like it did get leaked. This is the AMG line with the night package which blacks everything out.

Can't say I'm a fan

Looks like they "copied" Lexus crafted line and took some idea from BMW's.

And the increasingly massive lower grill trend continues......disappointing lack of elegance but guess overt luxury and maximum grill size is the "IN" thing right now.
