When you are used to FI, NA engines feel slow. The big GM SUVs I have driven with the 6.2 feel lethargic to me.
I can tell no difference without it, and it was detached and just flapping around in there anyways. Now that I know thats not it (I really thought it was, damn) I will reinstall it when I take the wheel well cover off. Has to be installed from behind the cover. Thats this weekends project, already told my wife she gets the S580 this weekend lol
@Striker223 whats a good appropriate and inexpensive floor jack I can get at Harbor Freight or Lowes or HD to lift the sort of cars I have? Understand its likely to be used for this and probably never again
I wish MB sold the luxury front end for the E Class here with the stand up star. I would seriously consider a E450 loaded up with air suspension and luxury styling. You can add the star to any Mercedes but it looks dumb with the big star also in the grille.

I was going to suggest the exact same thing or the aluminum version if there is a good sale/price as they are much easier to work with due to weight.
I use the long arm low profile version but that will not be needed with your cars since one can raise itself and the other isn't that low....in my case I have to make sure I can get under various cars,
People act like turbo engines are slow down low, but it's really the opposite. Through about 3,000 RPM, the Coyote in my truck makes a lot of noise but not a lot of acceleration. Kind of annoying on long hills.
At 1300 RPM, the BMW puts me back in my seat and pulls like a rocket.
Yeah for real, that's exactly what my UR feels like vs the other cars. The only time I can induce lag in the 4.0 is if I slam it to the floor from a dead stop or cruise in highest gear but the "lag" is still just as fast as the UR is.....then the boost hits and it's 2-3x faster
