I get it but it sucks that after all that work it won't be stock like it should be.
Might hurt the value being modded maybe?
I don't know, they should've been available here too, Imo.
Don't care one bit, the true version of the car is a W12 not some common 4.0 engine. This was a stock offering overseas for special order so it's still a 100% OE configuration
Been shopping them for years. Resale stinks the pricing for a used car this amazing is a steal
It is absolutely insane how good they are for the money! Very reliable as well in the D4 gen outside of the V6 gas and if you get a EA825 D5 and delete the warm up coolant valve.
The EA824 D4 is the same plus a few minor things but overall they are crazy solid cars. Much better than my LS were and I put 60k miles on one without needing to touch a thing other than oil changes.

Awesome rant! Haha
Sounds like we get the lower version here from what you are saying.
I think the Jaguar XJ axing was before the LS. So the XJ and LS won't be alone.
The XJ going so sporty and radical helped kill it and the LS followed suit oddly. Just too far in the other direction. Jag had the V-8s tho. In contrast the A8 was way too bland.
With moves like this, their corp slogan should be one of many
"Audi, the German Lexus".
"Audi we lease terribly because we the ****"
"Audi we exist"
"Audi, coachbuilders for Chinese evs caz thats the metal that moves"

Credit where it's due, the new RS5 looks amazing, probably the best-looking car to come out of Germany this decade.
Agree, but then it weights as much as an f150.....
Side note, I remember the ridicule car mfgs and media made when the RCF was considered "portly" over an m4 etc. But now its okay since Germany has embraced heavy due to its inability to design p/hev systems that are as efficient as a Toyota Prius.

That last comment isn't a good defense when the Japanese brands are 15 year behind in all things performance
