Let's get back to the LS.

 

Well.........that tells you some about much (not all) of today's auto industry. It's about as attractive as watching paint dry.

That's one reason why I don't make the same number of posts (or reviews) as I once did.

Doesn't even look remotely close to a coupe, let alone a "coupe crossover" it's just a generic EV crossover shape we've been seeing for the past 3-4 years now.

So is LS going to be like sub brand... LS SUV, LS Minivan?

 

Pumpkin face trend isn't going to be one I warm up to. But I guess we can expect the word L E X U S to now be written out on the front of future models.

 

I'm assuming they're testing out different directions that the LS can go in and are gathering feedback about the ideas.

 

I do wonder this whole mobility showcase eerily reminds of what Toyota has done in the past, where they have an idea, partner to showcase a couple of test products, sell it as a proof of concept to the higher ups, and decade later here you go. Specifically the lineage of the 4runner. Flatbed conversions with winnebago, to hilux surfer to 4runner.
