well aware the LC500 is gone. The point is that the Lexus clearly did not live up to expectations from the Lexus brand…especially if the car was that noisy and annoying inside…no wonder it was replaced with a silent running EV…Lexus built its reputation on silent and smooth running…not V8 pumping noise into cabins…Lexus should have a EV…Lexus LC500h was halfway there…would have been better if it was a V8 hybrid

my experience isn't anyone else's and i've no doubt almost every LC owner LOVES the raucus exhaust/intake sounds when hitting it.

they could have done a lot of things but there wasn't room designed in the LC for a v8 hybrid.

i've just always loved quiet cars.

For me it's quiet or STUPID loud with little tolerance for anything in between, I've yet to find a car with an active exhaust that gets truely quiet or loud enough.

Lexus battery EV is complete trash…Lexus should have made a Lexus coupe battery electric…or a LS battery EV

The LC500 already has a V8…and the LC500h already has a hybrid battery and tech…just put 2 and 2 together ….

Slightly different take on the above with the Toyota 2000GT.

We may still get something for Lexus, but I think the V8 race/street car is going to be all GR. That's the brand Akio wants to shine in performance.

Also, the LC500 still has the sound tube. All it does is connect the intake to the cabin. It's not fake, like the IS500 stereo noise dial.

I think it's going to be a GR.

Toyota are introducing 2 new brands. Century and GR.

Looks like apart from 'GR Sports' which come under Toyota and Lexus as a performance variant. There are going to be street legal GR cars not under the Toyota brand, so you'd get a single badge.

"GR Sports" is like F Sport, then you have the real GR car they will be announcing.
