Adjustable headlights was added on 2010 and later models. My friend has a 2011 and has the feature.

Yes the load leveling helps on the 3rd gen tundra if you get the option otherwise have to add bags. I have the road active suspension on my 2.5 gen and honestly I’m not impressed. It still squats pretty low. I’m going to pull it off and throw my cradles and bags on. I want to weigh my load. I’m sure I’m at least 8k or more.

Like you mentioned the 3rd gen’s are selling well so I definitely don’t see Toyota changing the powertrain on it as long as it’s V6 TT is moving units.

Since we are posting mpg.....I'm probably winning the engine size vs efficiency game lol!

Hand calc actually gives me .6 more somehow

A 1500 I easily would understand versus an older Chevy, bc the Toyota 5.7 pretty much decimated everything when it came out...

Interesting observation.
Another thing I forgot to mention, my Tundra has more hp (381 vs 353) and torque (401 vs 373) and more than likely better gearing (4:30 vs maybe 3.73) than the 2008 3/4 Silverado 6.0 which explains why it feels like the Tundra tows better. And the 6.0 gulps gas!! Worse than Tundra

That tundra was a massive deal when it first came out for a reason, they targeted the domestic heavy half tons so it's very good for its class.

23.7 mpg for a 12 cylinder engine is amazing!

Here's me at 21.9 mpg and a picture of our extra crappy new license plates in PA. I couldn't tell it was the new PA plate until I was right up on it. Harrisburg is going to have to change it. It's too non-descript and plain.

Hmmmm, I like both but will admit I prefer the plainer one. Best plates IMO would be like the TN black/white plates

This?

Yeah those are slick. The other 2 for the cars not plated with those yet, they suspended production temporarily so I'm still waiting.

I stole @BayeauxLex 's idea for the Merc... "V8 4 ME". Thank you by the way.

The LS430 I came up with, V8 ERA. I like that too.

Yukon is already plated..

I agree, I like a more plain license plate vs one with a bunch of stuff/colors on it. MD used to have nice plain plates but not anymore.

I will watch that!

I prefer the new plate, personally. I like simple.

@AJT123 had a hilarious debate with a guy on MBWorld. He was insisting his GLE53 was a better towing vehicle than a 1/3 ton pickup or full sized BOF SUV lol

Yeah I miss our old white plates. You can still get them with organizational plates. Have you ever seen the Maryland’s Eastern Shore plates? I had them for years and they got all rusted out and I went to bay plates.

There is also a company called Platemakers (might be Platemakerz) that you send your plates to and they repaint them. Obviously it’s illegal and I don’t want to be screwed with about them so I haven’t done it.

Even I had to say my piece with that one.

That's like saying a 1500 is better at going 150 down the autobahn...
