Contemplating getting additonal vehicle
Now I move aorund alot and don't like to keep cars so I only really take my turbo SC300 with me (when it's not getting modded). Now that the thing is going to be 600rwhp+ I am thinking of getting something practical too and giviing the car a break during daily drives and then beat it up on weekends and nights.
Currently I am looking at the H2 Adventure Package with a supercharger, headers, and exhaust. The combo is supposed to take me to around low 500s HP and high 500s TQ. This way I wont be too sluggish in this 3 ton car. Anything bad with this car that you guys know about? I trust you guys more than other places on opinions.

I don't have any personal experience, but if you want a hummer buy a real one (H1), and if you want an H2 I would just save the extra money and buy a tahoe that has the blower, etc that you want. It is the same thing practically.

I want something as a daily driver. H1s aren't easy to find parking spaces for or fit in one. If I got an H1 I would get a real H1 that came from the military and not one of the cushy ones that they sell to the public. Then the thing wouldn't be very comfortable anyway.
I dislike Tahoe's. The H2 looks fun and the Tahoe looks so, soooo boring. You couldn't pay me to drive a Tahoe.
900hp is too much for the vehicle. I don't need alot of power, just 500hp. The supercharger gives the vehicle just what it needed and no excess. At 900hp this car would run into more reliability issues than normal. The supercharger is still covered under factory warranty.

cool, if you like it go for it
personally I would go another route. But I might be biased as I traded in a Land Rover Discovery for my GS.
I like cars for daily drivers

h1 and h2 would almost be the same beast to park, and why not get a tahoe, its all the same minus about 3 inches. A yukon, denali, ext, all the same imo. I am sure a h2 wouldn't be that much fun. i think a small suv with some heavy mods would be kickin,
fx45 modded hard, lx470 would be a fun daily driver.

LX hmmm. And it's in the Lexus family.

From what I've heard the H2 isn't the most reliable car on the road. On the other hand, the LX is a very reliable car, with luxury and comfort through the roof.

Just a quick note about the Hummers....
Having been around both the military variants and the consumer variants, I think the consumer variants are way better. The diesel engines in the military ones are awful and require way more maintenance than you would ever want to put in a personal car, especially a daily driver.
The civilian ones, though, well... they're just cool.

And there's always the plethora of people who will hate you because you own an H2

geez, that's like my worst fear is to be hated by someone with an iq of 12.
need a stupid people ban together and stop the hate foundation. you can't argue with them, it's no fun.
